Mauritius’ commitments to combat climate change are ambitious given its national circumstances. National objectives, goals and targets have been set up with a view to make Mauritius a climate resilient and low emission country. This ambition is reflected in the mitigation and adaptation strategies and measures in which the Government of Mauritius has committed since the ratification of the Paris Agreement.
